Kasuti (Kannada: ಕಸೂತಿ) is a traditional form of folk embroidery practised in the state of Karnataka, India.
Kasuti work involves embroidering very intricate patterns like gopura, chariot, palanquin, lamps and conch shells. Locally available materials are used for Kasuti. Kasuti embroidery is the one with geometrical shape . when worked perfectly it gives an elegant look.
Recently I have worked in a yellow salwar top.. that is a plain with the silk border..so i have embroidered with kasuti pattern...but i worked only on border and added simple two motif...

Nicely done Anuradha. I felt you should have used some other color thread to highlight it on mustard color fabric. Just a suggestion.
