Dino cake......

i  had a plan to make a dino cake for  keerthi's  birthday.....

yes it came out super....

before cutting the  cake i asked to my husband what is this......(he is an archer) ....he told that i saw some bow shape here...

then i asked to my appa .....( he is an engineer)...he told that this is a spanner...

my elder one told some new new things...

but the little one only catch my view ...oh my god..finally he is a right person to identified my dino...

thank god...

at the time of cake cutting my little one told  dino going to die....ohh

see my little dino....








needs for sponge cake-

1.maida                            -1 1\2cup
2. sugar                           -3\4cup
3.melted butter or oil         -1\2 cup
4.baking powder              - 1 tsp
5.baking soda                   -1\2 tsp
7.milk                             -1\2 cup
8.warm water                  -3\4cup
9.lemon juice                   -1 ts sp
10.vanilla ess.                  - 1 tsp    


method-

1.sieve maida,  baking powder,baking soda ..  twice

2. add melted butter,warm water and milk

3.then add  sugar,ess  mix it then add shifted flour to it gently mix for a minute...

4.add lemon juice gently mix it...

5.meantime preheat oven 180 deg for 10 min

6.bake it for 40 min

7. take it out and cool it.. now  cake is ready....

i made 2 set of this....


for chocolate cream....

needs-

1.butter                   -  1\4 cup
2.cocoa powder         - 1\3 cup
3.milk                       -1\6 cup
4.powder sugar        -1 1\2 cup
5.ess.                       -1\2tsp.

method-

1.melt the  butter in a pan over low heat ..

2.add cocoa powder 

3.then add sugar,milk,ess...

4. mix it...icing is ready....


for the assembly....

first cut the cake into dino shape then icing it ...super cool cake is ready..

cake taste is good ...but the icing is not in perfect smooth .....what the mistake i did that's i don't know..

but the end of the party total cake was finished...even i didn't get a single piece...
