Sashiko embroidery....

    Sashiko stitching is a traditional embroidery style from Japan. Sashiko stitching is  simple but beautiful embroidery style that creates repeating patterns of varying complexity.

   This is simple running stitch...like our Indian kantha work...but for Sashiko embroidery the pattern is repeating....I did this work in  my saree blouse....
